At Minehead there are two venues the 4,000 seater Centre Stage upstairs for the main acts and the 1,400 seater Reds downstairs used for line dancing and in the evenings it was a struggle to find a seat. This year the star attraction was performances by Colin Raye and his four piece band.
Held at the new Arena, we found that the one day Wembley International Festival 2012 was a combination of old and new Country Music put on by Mervyn Conn, which gave us a chance to meet friends we had not seen and experience the atmosphere rekindled from many years ago.
