Pete of the Texas Tornadoes is a Ladies man wooing the birthday girls by sitting them on his knees. We had two birthday girls to night who got the privilege of being treated this way.
Also Roland said, “Pete warms to his fans and the fans warm back to him”, which created a very good party atmosphere. The bands repertoire is an excellent mix of the old and also the very new, with songs from Lady Antebellum I Need You Now, Justin Brown, I Never Got To be This Way and John Michael Montgomery, I Miss You a Little. Now when did you last hear a band announce: This is the Current No.1? Pete did so with Thompson Square Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not. Some of the classics were Guitars and Cadillacs from Dwight Yoakam, The Chair from George Strait and God Blessed Texas from Little Texas.
The people did not want them to finish and Rod, Pete and Stewart obliged with giving us two encores.
