H-Bar-CNashville Sounds with Peter on vocals, Sam on bass and vocals, Steve on lead guitar, his dad Ray on steel and a young man (which name has escaped me) on drums. They strung many songs together into popular medleys which turned into sing along sessions. The band played an emotional Blanket On The Ground for deceased Billy Jo Spears, who had only died a couple of days previously.

H-Bar-CWith Peter on holiday, we had Clive Grant from the Henry Smith Band standing in on bass and it turned out a very different night of music than we are used to from Nashville Sounds. Sam rose to the occasion on the main vocals with Ray falling in as usual with true country numbers. Crowded to capacity, the night turned into a big party with many medleys, which kept the dancers on the floor solidly throughout the night.
